UFO #7 - My final UFO submission. It was a throw pillow that I wanted to make when we first moved into out apartment in September of 2001. It's a really pretty cable pattern that I worked really hard on. Actually I think this was my first experience with cables. As you can see by the second photo, I never made the back, and now I have no more of the yarn. Any ideas of how I can finish it? =(
UFO #6 - This is my OLDEST UFO. My very first project when I first learned to knit about 13 years ago. I sewed the first 10 squares together, then I ended up with the little ends tied together. All I need to do it sew the rest together and maybe add some kind of material to the back and it would be a cute throw blanket.

Hrmmpfff..........
So I've been working on these two at a time toe up socks on two circular needles, whew, that's a mouthful. Anyway, first I worked a couple too many rows before the first increases, which gave me these little "chimneys" at the top. Then I got past my toes and realized that the damn sox were going to be waaay to big, so I ripped out the whole thing. I pulled out one of the yarns I dyed, the mango one, and decided to start again. Here's a few photo's of what I've done so far....
Plus I included a photo of me modelling my felted cloche in-progress. hee hee
(you can see a bit of my stash containers behind my head. Maybe I'll do a little inventory and post my stash later on.)
I'll be over my parent's house tomorrow to visit and use the laundry facilities. I am going to be felting my Mom's bag and the needle holder, so wish me luck!!!

More Stuff
Here is my over-dye job on "the mess" skein. I think it looks a helluva lot better than it did before. So since I'm waiting for it to dry before I can use it, I decided to try
Knit Picks pattern for 2 toe up socks done on 2 circular needles. I was a bit confused as I started and even did a few increases wrong. I think I understand it a bit more now. It's definitely not as scary as I thought it would be. I'm just using scrap sock yarn to practice, but when I finish them I might have to wear them no matter what they look like. =) So below you can see the itty bitty toes that I began a few minutes ago. =) How cool!!!!

More stuff....
I just can't stop myself. I haven't even completed my other felted projects and now I started another with more leftover yarn. It's a felted cloche hat that I found in a new book I just picked up today. Here's the start of it........
I'm using black Patons Merino Wool and a skein of the natural color of the same brand that I dyed in my previous post..."the mess". I decided to try to overdye it tonight with 3 packets of Tropical punch. It's steaming right now. Pictures to follow once it's hung to dry.
